More Than a Park
The Feeney Park Foundation is an independent
501(c)(3) non-profit corporation (FEIN# 77-0289008) that operates and maintains Feeney Park.
We are an entirely volunteer organization.
There are no public funds that support the park. Fundraising and the support of our donor community is what keeps the Feeney Park dream alive.
Feeney Park’s History
A Real Life “Field of Dreams”
The Feeney Park project began in the 1990s as a vision to serve the community, giving families a place to relax, enjoy sports and celebrate the arts.
The dream was brought to life by a generous bequest of land from Edna Feeney, and through the support and hard work of countless volunteers. Feeney Park celebrated its Grand Opening on November 11, 1999.
Expansions were made over the years, including the skate park, amphitheater, walking trails, and the 18-hole disc golf course.
More than 25 years later, Feeney Park remains a community treasure that relies 100% on the time, talent and financial support of our many valued volunteers and donors.
